Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Outback Original Oil, Pain Cream, Magnesium+, shipping and our 365-Day Returnless Refund.
Before you buy
Which Outback product is right for me?
Most people start with Outback Original Oil. It has four natural ingredients and no heating or cooling feeling. If you like the warming and cooling feeling of a traditional rub, choose Pain Cream. Magnesium+ is a daily supplement some customers take alongside a topical.
What if Outback is not for me?
Every order on our site is backed by our 365-Day Returnless Refund. If it is not for you, keep the product and get your money back.
Do I need all three products?
No. Each product works on its own. Some customers like to combine them: Pain Cream for a warming and cooling feeling, Outback Original Oil for everyday use, and Magnesium+ as a daily supplement.
Are your products safe for everyone?
Our products are made for adults. If you are pregnant or nursing, take prescription medicine or have a medical condition, check with your doctor before use.
Do your products have side effects?
Side effects are rare. Topicals can occasionally cause mild skin irritation, so test a small spot first if you have sensitive skin. Magnesium+ may cause mild digestive changes in some people.
Is Outback legit?
Yes. Outback is made by The Outback Series in DeLand, Florida, and has been sold in the US since 2013. See the company facts.
Outback Original Oil
What are the ingredients in Outback Original Oil?
Four natural ingredients: olive oil, Australian tea tree oil, Blue Mallee eucalyptus oil and vanilla. Full ingredients and safety.
What is Outback Original Oil?
A light, natural oil made with Australian tea tree and eucalyptus oils, olive oil and vanilla. It soaks in fast, leaves a fresh vanilla and eucalyptus scent, and never burns or freezes.
How do I use it?
Massage a small amount into the skin until absorbed, about 30 seconds. If you can still smell it after 15 minutes, you used more than you need.
How often should I use it?
As often as you like. Most longtime customers use it every day, morning and night.
Why doesn't Outback Original Oil feel hot or cold?
It has no menthol, camphor or capsaicin, the ingredients that create a burning or icy feeling. You should feel nothing but a light oil that soaks in.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Most people have no problems. Tea tree and eucalyptus oils can occasionally cause mild irritation, so test a small spot first if you have sensitive skin.
Can I use it with other products or medicine?
It can generally be used alongside your other skin care products. If you take prescription medicine or have a medical condition, check with your doctor.
Does it stain clothes?
It soaks in quickly. Let it absorb for a minute before it touches delicate fabrics.
Pain Cream
How is Pain Cream different from Outback Original Oil?
Pain Cream is for people who like a warming and cooling feeling. It uses natural menthol 16% and natural camphor 6%, plus eucalyptus, tea tree oil and vanilla. Shop Pain Cream.
What is Pain Cream used for?
For the temporary relief of minor aches and pain associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains.
How fast will I feel it?
Most people feel the cooling and warming sensation within minutes.
What if I don't feel much sensation?
That is normal. The feeling varies from person to person, and a stronger sensation does not mean it is working better.
How often should I use it?
Up to 3 to 4 times a day. Apply a small amount and massage it in. Avoid your eyes, sensitive areas and broken or irritated skin.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
It is paraben-free. Menthol and camphor can irritate sensitive skin, so test a small spot first and stop using it if irritation develops.
Magnesium+
What is Magnesium+?
Magnesium+ is a daily magnesium supplement that supports muscle relaxation, restful sleep and everyday recovery.*
How do I take it?
Take capsules with food. Start with 2 capsules a day for the first 2 weeks, then 3 capsules a day, at about the same time each day.
How long until I notice a difference?
Most people give it about a month of consistent use, about one bottle.* Results vary.
Can I take it with other supplements or medicine?
Check with your doctor if you take prescription medicine or have a medical condition.
Are there safety precautions?
Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor before use. Supplements should not replace a healthy diet.
