3 Books to Read on Rainy Days

 Rainy days are perfect for catching up on some reading. With those canceled plans due to the weather you basically have an excuse to read. Light a few candles, grab one of your favorite blankets, and cuddle up on the couch with one of your favorite books.

If you've run out of books to read though and are in need of a few suggestions, I've got 3 books for you to try out this spring.

1. 1984 by George Orwell

1984 is a dystopian novel written as a warning against totalitarianism and that follows the life of Winston Smith, a man who is frustrated by a controlling ruler who watches over every aspect of people's lives. Winston's natural curiosity and desire to be free quickly results in chaos.

2. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

Jane Eyre is a novel written about a woman’s quest for freedom that has had the power of intriguing generations of readers. Growing up as an orphan with an abusive aunt and in a terrible charity school, Jane Eyre works to overcome the many obstacles in her life through determination and courage.

3. No Exit by Taylor Adams

Four strangers get trapped at a remote highway rest stop together during a fierce blizzard. Darby then makes a chilling discovery - a little girl locked in the back of a stranger’s van. With no cell reception and no way out due to the storm, Darby must find a way to break the girl out and escape with both of their lives. Can she trust who she thinks she can trust?
